this is Lucy. She's a captive bred ball python and she's been a loving member of our family for a little over 2 years! Smile

She's so sweet and completely changed my perception on snakes... kind of. I still don't like when they slither lol

She's really sweet though. My boyfriend likes it when he allows our 2 year old to carry her around his neck. I'm not a fan, but I must admit, it's pretty cute. (I also know if Lucy were to try anything stupid on Ayden, Jason would uhh...take care of her fairly quickly)

Anyway. I never thought I'd love a snake. But I do. He's mentioned getting rid of her a few times because he doesn't spend the right amount of time with her - especially since we got the sugs, and it makes me sad.

Gorgeous, what is her overall size?

Im getting one in at the shop this week. A baby!! Sooo looking forward to it!!

Lucy was a baby when we got her! She fit in the palm of our hand.

Her markings are BEAUTIFUL.

And uh, Lucy is probably a Lucifier, seeing as how male ball pythons get long and stay skinny, and females get long and fat... Laughing

But..s/he is still Lucy to us! Hahaha. That sounds so bad, but seriously. it's hard to sex a snake. (And that sounded bad, too LOL)

She's probably...3 1/2 feet long. Maybe longer? We've never really measured. Just guestimated.
